Kids are so literal

While being forced to travel 20 miles below the speed limit (35mph in a 55mph zone) for no apparent reason and in growing irritation, I muttered to myself, "I have no freaking idea why the people in front of us are going so damn slow!" (forgive my poor grammar, I was stressed). My son replied perfectly calmly, "I know why, Mom! They just aren't pushing the pedal all the way down." Out of the mouths of babes...or tweens.
